Your professional growth is a "work in progress". The PLI helps you reflect on how your learning to date relates to the Leadership Standards.
For each standard, reflect on your prior learning. You may consider such things as:
- Daily routines of your current or prior jobs
- Committees you have worked on
- College or university credit courses
- Workshops/in-service
- Mentoring relationships
- Peer coaching relationships
- Collegial group participation
- Reading of texts/articles on topic
- Other
Connecting to the Standards
The standards are organized into three broad areas of leadership: Instructional, Operational, and School. There are 3-4 standards within each area. Various skill sets are referenced within each standard. The PLI will give you an opportunity to reflect on your prior learning in many areas.
